The shocking crime case involving self-styled godman Chaitanyananda Saraswati, also known as Parth Sarathi, continues to unravel with new revelations. Despite being in judicial custody, the controversial spiritual leader has made a series of bold demands, including special clothing, medicines, books, and sannyasi food. The Patiala House Court has asked Delhi Police to respond before deciding whether these privileges will be granted.
Chaitanyananda’s crime has shaken the nation, exposing disturbing details from his Delhi ashram, where students were allegedly manipulated under the guise of spirituality. Former students have revealed that girls received special treatment, were isolated in separate rooms, and had their personal phones replaced with devices accessible to Baba. Many were lured with false promises of jobs and internships in Dubai.
The crime investigation has also led to the arrest of three of Baba’s close aides — Shweta Sharma, Bhavana Kapil, and Kajal — all accused of helping him intimidate victims and destroy evidence. Police confirmed that Baba, arrested in Agra after weeks on the run, faces charges of mass sexual assault against 17 young women from underprivileged backgrounds. The case highlights how exploitation can hide behind a façade of spirituality.
