Agriculture Minister P. Prasad and International Coach Ameer Vayalar Inaugurates Friends Taekwondo Academy Anniversary

Cherthala came alive with energy and enthusiasm as Friends Taekwondo Academy hosted the
grand inauguration of its Anniversary and Vacation Classes, drawing an enthusiastic crowd
and prominent dignitaries. The event was inaugurated by Sri. P. Prasad, Hon’ble Minister
for Agriculture, Government of Kerala, amidst a vibrant gathering of students, parents, and
supporters.
A standout moment of the celebration was the Self-Defense Demonstration by the Shaurya
Team – Star Command, functioning under the District Administration of Alappuzha.
Their performance impressed attendees with its precision and discipline, highlighting the vital
importance of self-defense training in modern society.
Mr. Sudheesh Chandra Bose, Patron of Friends Taekwondo Academy, extended a warm
welcome to all dignitaries and guests. During the event, Minister Sri. P. Prasad officially
launched the Academy’s Anniversary Logo and the Stern Training Program Brochure,
signifying a renewed commitment to focused, high-impact martial arts education.
Among the special guests were Mr. Arun G., Inspector of Police, Cherthala, and Mr. Gibin
Babu, CEO of Gray Aiders and Deputy Commander of the Delta Task Force, who extended
their best wishes and appreciation for the academy’s contributions to youth empowerment.
The celebration also featured the distribution of certificates, mementos, and scholarships,
recognizing outstanding performers and contributors within the academy’s community. Mr.
Ameer Vayalar, International Taekwondo Coach, conveyed heartfelt gratitude to the
esteemed guests, trainers, students, and parents. He emphasized the academy’s ongoing
mission: to build character, strength, and leadership through martial arts.
