Delhi Dog Attack Over Parking Quarrel Leaves 6 Injured

Delhi dog attack shocked Subhash Park residents after a heated quarrel over motorcycle parking turned violent late Monday night. According to police, the accused Shalu allegedly set his pet dog on neighbour Ketan (32) and his family during the dispute, leaving six people injured.

The clash broke out around 11:30 pm when an argument over parking escalated. Shalu, joined by his friends, not only physically assaulted Ketan and his relatives but also unleashed his pet dog to attack them before fleeing the scene. Panic spread in the area as the injured cried for help.

All six victims were rushed to GTB and JPC Hospitals. Police confirmed that while five of them were discharged after first aid, one family member remains under observation due to more serious injuries.

Delhi Police registered a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Welcome police station and multiple teams have been deployed to track down Shalu, who is currently absconding.

The incident has sparked outrage in the neighbourhood, with residents demanding stricter measures against misuse of pet animals in violent disputes. Investigations are ongoing.
